Sporty's Syllabus Stage 1, Lesson 7
constant airspeed climbs and descents and airspeed transitions
Preparation
Sporty's "additional study" items - There is a lot to read, but much of this was already covered on the previous flight. If you've already read/watched the material, this may be a good opportunity to review to see if your observations from previous flight create any new understanding of the material
Discussion items
- Review self study from previous ground lessons
- Review lesson objective and completion standards (from the Sporty's syllabus)
- pre-solo written question: What is the grade and color of the fuel used in the C172?
- Discuss aerodynamics of stall and spins and how the previous flight helped you connect theory to application
- FAA ACS -- in the context of the completion standards for this flight
Emergency procedure of the day
